Contraindications:

  • History of severe allergic reactions (e.g., anaphylaxis)
  • Bleeding disorders
  • Presence of active skin infections or inflammations (cysts, pimples, rashes, hives)
  • Should not be used concurrently with laser resurfacing or medium/deep peels
    

Side Effects:

• • Common: pain, heat sensation, redness, swelling, itching at the injection site—may last up to 10 days
  • Less common: hardening or nodules at injection points
  • Rare: skin discoloration, necrosis, abscess, granuloma, or hypersensitivity reactions

PROFHILO® must be administered by a qualified medical practitioner or nurse injector under supervision. It involves injection into the subcutaneous tissue using an ultrafine needle.

  • Avoid strenuous activity, UV exposure, and certain procedures within 2–4 weeks post-injection
